Our Mission

The Special Explorers Center is dedicated to children with special needs. We strive to address the needs of the "whole" child, with the inclusion of parents or guardians and the community to ensure a dynamic, favorable outcome. Our goal is to promote continued growth by focusing on structural socialization skill training and ensuring each child develops skills at his or her own pace.

Your Child and ABA Therapy

Here at Special Explorers Center, we dream that all children can live a purposeful life without limits. We invite you to join us on an extraordinary journey to achieve remarkable results through ABA treatment and autism care.

By using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), we will uncover your child’s passions and spark his or her interests in order to foster an ability to learn new skills and to ultimately become more independent!

Imagine your child looking at you when you say his or her name, sharing toys with a sibling, or having a conversation with you – At Special Explorers Center, our goal is to expand your child’s skills in these areas and more! We focus on building on your child’s strengths, while teaching, rewarding, and catching your child “being good!”

In addition, our team of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts and expert behavioral therapists will show your child that inappropriate behaviors don’t work and empower you to manage and eliminate these challenges from your everyday life!

Special Explorers Center will continue to enforce nondiscrimination in our policies, trainings, and culture. We will continue to celebrate and support our diverse workforce and client base. We will continue to stand for what is right, and never tolerate prejudice or inequality. We are constantly striving to bring the best information possible to our consumers, their families, and the communities that we serve.

Our state-of-the art centers will provide a safe, fun, and robust treatment setting to inspire your child to soak up new information with one-on-one support and with peers. Your child will have access to a wide variety of learning materials and equipment, as well as to groups of other children to promote friendships and community.

At Home

ABA Centers

We come to you! Learning in the home setting may be the most comfortable for your child. While at home, your child can learn in familiar surroundings during daily routines. Family members can easily participate. Home-based ABA is ideal during the pandemic since it avoids contact with large groups of other children.
